I've finally turned 16 last week, on the 15th of October! A day I've been anticipating since long, and I really wanted to make it abit more special this year. For the past two years, I've got some friends over and had small parties. It's my sixteenth this year, although I want it to be abit more special, I didn't wanted to over do it or anything. No ballrooms, no fine dining. Just something better than usual, and meaningful. Well, I got abit carried away from college life and till I realized it, my birthday was a week away.
Without much consideration, I got mom to booked the clubhouse near my place and got an event coordinater go help sort out everything, but I kept everything simple to keep cost low. It was a busy week indeed, phone calls everyday, discussing on the decors and food, also got my cake custom made :)
What really got me worrying was actually the guests, I planned to invite quite a few, but it disappoints me everytime someone turns it down. You know whenever you ask a birthday girl what present she wants? It's not important to her at all, the best and only present she wishes for would be everyone turning up. It's true, you'll come to realized it when you experienced for yourself.
Well, it all came to a success.
